OH NOE!

I'm getting drum stuff fever again ... GOOD DEALS that I find very hard to resist but would set me back at least $350...Assuming I can sell my current hats for bout close to 200 then it'd be $150 or so... probably $200. But I also need to get new earphones!! Just today my earphones officially died on me and now no matter how I twist the wire I don't get sound in the right ear.

Anyway for those who'd like to help me out with my drum dilemma... 13" Sabian HHX Manhattan Jazz Hi hats (I think I prefer the 14") and 14" Paiste Signature Reflector Dark Crisp (what a mouthful) Hi hats. Do check them out and tell me which you think sounds nicer for a versatile but more jazzy cymbal (JUST LIKE MY RIDE). Especially the music-y people. Err. www.paiste.com and www.sabian.com and search for em. PLEASE!!!

Then if any sound-savvy person out there reads my blog also please advise me what earphones to get, budget of around $150, preferably cheaper.

Twitter

For some strange reason I decided to start twittering... Ok the reason was mainly to subscribe to other people (namely NBA players) twitters. But might as well make use of it. And I've decided to somewhat publicize my blog more.

back from chalet

This week has been really good so far. On Monday just met Lester in the afternoon and in the evening we studied at KAP. I felt really demoralised cos I like didn't know a lot of stuff, even for my better subjects. I must thus be more disciplined and willing to study at home because I have all my notes and everything which would allow me to understand the topic better while doing the question.

On Tuesday headed to Clementi MRT in the morning to meet scone for class CIP (kudos to Wei for organising). We brought some intellectually-disabled people out to Sentosa for a day of fun! It was quite an experience, and my buddy was very independent and co-operative, and pimp. So basically we just ate at the beach and had some colouring time and then we proceeded to Merlion walk and just took some photos there. When Wei uploads the photos on facebook I'll put some of em here.

So CIP ended around 4 or so and I rushed home to pack for class chalet. Met jiayi sandra and michelle at queenstown MRT then we went to pasir ris and met ian yang and lydia and waited for fern. So checked in blablabla, peiyan came and we had pizza hut for the first night! Silly us didn't think of renting movies earlier like while we were at Pasir Ris MRT. Anyway activities for the night were mainly cards and a failed attempt at cluedo (we forgot the rules and how to play). Wei came later on and peiyan left so 8 of us stayed over the first night. Ms Lam thought that sunrise was at 430am and thus set her alarm at 430 (we changed it to 445). I couldn't really sleep well the first night so at 430 she asked me if want go see the sunrise and I just blindly followed her out the door before reminding her (informing rather) to her shock and horror that the sun rises at like what nearer to 7?

Thus we were locked out and had to call Chye to open the door. Then yang fern and lydia dunno did what like reading in the toilet and stuff but anyway they went out and the rest of us slept till 840 or so and had breakfast at macs. Then sadly yang lydia and chye had to go at like 10+, so jiayi me fern wei and sandra went bowling. It was fun. Jeremy sucks, k ah ma rocks. Like the guy in the next lane to us (jeremy) was this act pro guy who is srsly gonna break his back some day with his form and comes across as super loser and annoying. Meanwhile a few lanes away was this ah ma who was SUPER PRO (k ah ma). Yar. So then jiayi and fern left and alon came. Alon thought the chalet was inside wild wild wet and bought a $15.50 admission ticket (but managed to get refunded). That was really funny. We had lunch at white sands (shopping ctr at pasir ris mrt) and rented movies! Lunch at superdog which was SOOO not super. Spent the afternoon watching burn after reading (watched halfway, it sucked, both the movie and the dvd itself cos it stopped working) and then slumdog millionaire. Rui xian came like around 6, peiyan later on and we had dinner at subway.

I shall leave out the details after that for fear of sounding scandalous.

So yes chalet was fun fun fun and now I'm very sleepy. Wish more people could have come, stayover number on the first night was pretty much the max but wish more people could have come for the day and stuff. We shall have many more in the future!

the end of the CO journey

And at last it's over! Firstly a big thank you to everyone who bothered coming down to support us. I can definitely live with the consequences of the decision I made a few months back, and I can safely say that I have enjoyed the experiences and friendships that I have made in this time in CO. I also want to say a special thank you to Mike and Lukas for being my chums and being a huge part of this interesting experience heh... And of course also my classmates chowpeiyan and ahchoo.

I'd like to blog more now but NBA FINALS WOOHOOOO. scone chalet tmr. hope ppl come

Day 2 (sort of)

Progress so far: zilch. But I am about to attempt the bio IL and I SHALL MEET MY GOALS!!! Roar. Looking forward to class chalet very much. Today I swam in a futile attempt to tan more but alas the sun had gone down. CO is very blehhhhh. Awesome :)

Honestly though I just cant wait for CCA to be over with OMG SO MUCH FREE TIME! So class chalet's done, if anyone would like to suggest stuff we're gonna do and plan foodbringing etcetc please feel free to offer your help :D And Justin and I apparently have the responsibility of planning an IDEN outing as well. But what if our star member doesn't go? LWH is the bomb.

Ok my quicktime's done installing so I can now use LMS whoaaa.... Err. Go Kings. Get Rubio! Without trading Hawes or Thompson!

Edit: Alas I am too hardworking for the school and although I'm ready the slides and all aren't uploaded yet. -.-
