thxgod

First and foremost, I want to thank God for everything, answering my prayers and giving me good grades. Honestly I didn't expect to do very well, and please don't mistake me as trying to be arrogant, I really was hoping to just get below 10 points. Anyway, I hope nobody is demoralized by this but instead is encouraged to work harder, and as much as I'm not a good example of that, feel free to ask me for help if you need it. Most importantly for those who are christians, commit everything to god. Be it the paper or your studying, commit it all to God and pray hard.

perspective

I shall now blog. While in the car just now, my rather long train of thoughts led me to a rather interesting topic. In today's world, the terms "BF (boyfriend)", "GF (girlfriend)" and "BGR (boy[friend]-girl[friend] relationship)" are rather common. What is funny though, is that when teenagers reach adulthood (21 in singapore), they are no longer known as boys and girls. Even during teenage years they are addressed as young men and women. Using this as a basis for my argument, I am pushing for a change in terminology. I shall introduce my new terms.

1. MF - ManFriend
2. WF - WomanFriend
3. MWR - ManWomanRelationship
4. MGR - ManGirlRelationship
5. BWR - BoyWomanRelationship

I think with these new terms, conversations will be a lot more interesting. For one, people will actually pay attention to you when you mention your better half. For instance, "Oh yesterday my boyfriend took me to Sentosa" VS "yesterday my MANFRIEND took me to VolcanoLand". I personally feel the latter draws much more attention, and is thus more effective in speech. Experts are also always saying how men demand respect in a relationship while women demand ... something or other (female readers kindly answer this in the tagboard and I'll edit the post ASAP thx). By calling your "boyfriend" a manfriend, you are obviously showing tremendous respect for his masculinity and maturity. On the other hand, when you call your girlfriend a womanfriend, it shows her rights to free drinks at St James Powerhouse on Ladies night.

I very much hope that you will follow my recommendation.

post of then

Firstly, a big thank you to friends and family who well make everyday of my life special. Especially birthdays. Secondly, a big sorry for this blog being stagnant in the past week. I could say that I've been caught up studying for exams but honestly speaking I haven't. What I have been though, is sick, and though that hardly serves as an excuse for my lack of artistic expression, it is still an excuse. I believe the last time I posted was the day I returned from Malaysia. To sum up the events that have since occurred:

Thursday: Played ball at 7am, 6pm
Friday: Went to school to study, watched evan almighty at night
Saturday: Wasn't feeling too well. Went for ACJC open house and friend's house to study.
Sunday: Even less well, slept a lot, studied for chem and geog
Monday: Died for geog, went to doctor. Slept the rest of the day away at home
Tuesday: Went for papers unprepared, died for physics
Wednesday: Messed up Bio Prac
Thursday: Bio, EM2 (not that good), drum
Friday: Lit in the afternoon, band prac evening
Saturday: Birthday, watched heroes
Sunday: Church, watched heroes
Today: AM1 (good), finished heroes, blogging

Coincidentally it's time for dinner. Looks like I'll have to postpone the post again. Then again I'm rather out of ideas of what to write about, other than fairly... well routine life that is strangely not mundane. Maybe I'll make something up about the coming year. As in, me growing a year older. We'll see.

today's post

ever wondered what may happen when a fat boy gets out of hand on teachers' day?

Anyway after school yesterday went to watch ratatouille. It's really good. We had lunch at Wisma Food Republic and stayed there awhile playing cards. I then proceeded to church at 5pm and practiced and warmed up for practice at 630pm. Err today I hope to do some work. To the rest of the world, happy holidays!

On a side note, everybody cept Justin is SOO negative. Cos I went to each of em and like ... "cried" on their shoulders saying I missed my girlfriend and all of em said I don't have one. Only Justin was like "It's ok, you'll see her" or something along those lines. Right. I miss my girlfriend. So that when I do have one I'll err you know appreciate her more. And if you don't get me then nevermind!!!! She's still the best. A month.
