hello again

Hi! sorry for not blogging in super long. Anyway today ah that Annie totally embarrassed me in front of the whole class because I didn't know when Farquhar did something or other. I'm so gonna tell the world her little secret. Annie loves boon!!!!!! AHHH please annie don't kill yourself ok we still love you much muchxxz.

I shall start recapping from last friday, where in order to not write a letter for PE (due to me being sick and not wanting to see a doctor) I signed up to participate in some youth radio talkshow thing hosted by Mr Daniel Martin of 93.8 Fm. It was quite interesting to see how radio personalities act, I mean since you only ever hear their voices. We discussed whether technology has resulted in a lack of appreciation for the arts amongst youth, and the general consensus was that technology has given a new meaning to the arts, broadening its definition and also providing new means for us to express ourselves in the arts hint youtube.

This brings me to Sunday's events. After church I met Andrew and then waited for the rest of 4.8 to come. Lester's church booked a whole theater at GV so about 14 of us from 4.8 met up to watch The Forbidden King. Honestly I can't comment on the show, you have to see it to believe it. It was nice catching up a little with other classmates that I hadn't seen in a while. While at PS, we went to times where I noticed the book "youtube for dummies". Out of curiosity I glanced through it and found it rather amusing. It had stuff about "offensive content", warning the reader of the danger of idiotic youtube users posting harsh and negative comments. I do hope the reader knows what he's getting himself into. Yeah it also mentioned like how to report videos and stuff. I've told some of you that at a certain point in time I was feeling rather worried about the rapid advancement of technology, Windows Vista to be precise, as embarrassing as it may sound. But that packaged with the release of all the new consoles like the PS3 really got me rather flustered. I felt that I couldn't keep up with all this technology, that once you mastered something, something new came out. And that sucked. But I'm over it and so bring it on VISTA! Anyway rants about my insecurity of the past aside, let me now rant about my insecurity of the future.

The youtube book. What if say 60 years from now we find ourselves going to the nearest borders or times (by then like mrts will fly and stuff) and looking for a dummies guide to say ... pacman v5000. I can imagine bringing it home and like having my grand kids laugh their pants off at me, and there I'll be with my already poor and deteriorating eyesight and my huge magnifying glass, no doubt stolen from the bio lab(no.), turning to the table of contents. Page 5, "difference between this version and all 4999 versions before it". "Hi, if you bought this book it probably means you aspire to be a great pacman player but are struggling with it. The first step to becoming that great player is to realise the difference of pacman today and the pacman of yesteryear. The largest difference is that pacman is now rainbow coloured, and the developers have even added a rather ancient feel to the game, using music from the likes of Muse."
I mean seriously, is all this change necessary? Unfortunately, it is. I just hope I'm not left out as a pacman dinosaur.

Today some of us had to run our 2.4 for napfa. I had my lowest improvement rate, improving by a mere 25 seconds for a timing of 10.23. nevertheless I was really happy because it was my first A for any "long distance" run ever, but I'm rather worried for my standing broad jump and sit and reach.

how much wood

how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood... So in the maelstrom of events I seem to have gotten myself involved in several I-would-normally-not-get-involved activities. And the scheme of things have been looking brighter.

Mommy and my sister are away having fun in the land of the Chins, which leaves me home alone! But don't come rob my house ok I leave my light on so burglars think still got people at home. GO NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH! Yeah cos I can set traps and stuff and make a burglar alarm out of a lousy ride cymbal and string!

School today. We had swim PE and of course I went to intermediate which is a step better than my 4 years in secondary school, even if we did voluntarily and "illegally" go for beginners. I like my new trunks :D but I lost my gym gloves oh noes! right. So yes swim swim swim, my legs hurt ouch. I feel like watching a movie, but I feel like saving money. I feel like eating tons and tons of food!!! Oh cravings.

I now refer to a certain blog post that talks about chemicals in your body exercising, such as mucus running. The immediate response I had to the statement was ... "NO WAY" with a rather big smile on my face that kinda meant harhar thats quite funny. My thoughts drifted to certain individuals and the possibility of them being the subject of discussion! Boy were those entertaining thoughts.

Today, on the 11th of April, 1sc1v2.0 of 2008 celebrated its 1monthanniversary! But on a more significant note, today, on the 11th of April, Elisabeth Ong Su Li called me fat.

It was that wednesday

Well apparently today was international friendship day! Good job Alon and Yishen!

It's happened many many times, and I think whats really important is just to trust God. I'm insecure. Honestly I am, whether times are good or bad. So all I can do is trust God and believe that stuff is gonna work out. Insecurity makes security feel even better, maybe such that you don't take it for granted.

hmm?

In an attempt to not let my blog stagnate like certain others, I shall make a post. Last week was fun-o-rama and I had a very good time staying back with my classmates till 11 on thurs and friday, singing random songs and messing around. The day itself was ok, got a chance to meet Limzy and Cleon and Thong, but I didn't have much time to go around and enjoy the carnival. Nevertheless it was an unforgettable experience. Sorry people but I don't make a good scary dude guy, my role was originally freaking lame. Monday was a half holiday kind of thing and a few of us did stuff.

I really really like my class. Or the people I hang around with, without them I'd just die in school everyday. Recent events have made me ecstatic, and then sometimes really down within a few minutes. But if it did turn out that way...
