As much as I'm thankful that we're getting this awesome opportunity, I have to be honest here. I don't think the congregation who is giving their offering and tithing has the idea of booking palawan beach in mind when doing so. Honestly, the money can go to SO much more than just a day of fun and fellowship for a bunch of youths. I feel quite ashamed with the usage of money in this instance, unless I'm wrong and the beach costed pennies to buy, in which case awesome. But I find that highly unlikely.

Jesus healed the sick and loved the poor. We make ourselves exclusive by booking a beach. Can somebody please explain how this one shot wastage in my opinion goes towards building the kingdom of god. Maybe we should just start giving out money as bulletins, or have gold taps in the YWCA bathroom. Do they not achieve the same thing?
