the world of sports
Today I watched bits of college basketball... and for one of the games, Boston College Vs Maryland, I found it just weird. I simply don't understand when basketball happens unlike in the NBA i.e. NDL cough singapore slingers etc. For example, on a free throw, whats the point of the defensive team sending 4 guys? In the NBA one side will have D-O-D and the other D-O (D means defensive and O means offensive players)... the college game had D-O-D and D-O-D... so usually what happens is the front defensive guy boxes out the offensive guy, leaving one additional defensive guy to get the rebound. So by having two defensive guys ... are you like gonna send 2 guys to fight for a rebound on the same team or what? And then that takes away the outlet pass for a break because there's only your poor point guard left running down the court. On the other hand, the slingers were like ... D-O and D. like what??? what kind of lame plays are being drawn up here man.... YM camp coming this thursday ... I do hope I can be a good asst leader and help elizabeth out. I hope even more that my group is full of nice people who are there to have a good time and experience God and that I won't need to rah rah and everyone will be cooperative... Then again I also hope that the Kings will either win the championship or get the 1st pick for the next 2-3 years. Have you ever missed someone? Or forgotten about them? It's like when they're not there you seem to forget about them, but you don't want to forget them so you end up missing them. Then they come back and suddenly it's like everything is good again. Or is it? 3. 1 on track, 1 getting on track, 1 will really depend on her. Glue needs to stop. |
